Nonnie’s Pizza has been family owned and operated since 1985, carrying on family recipes and traditions that date back to 1961. What started as a passion for authentic pizza became a legacy built on family, hard work, and community.

In the early 1980s, Louise and her husband Tim Sr. decided to open a restaurant of their own. Their son Tony suggested honoring Grandma Non by naming the restaurant after her, and the entire family instantly loved the idea. That’s how Nonnie’s Pizza was born.

The family sacrificed everything to launch the first Nonnie’s location, even living together in a small two-bedroom apartment while building the business. Their hard work turned the restaurant into a beloved neighborhood pizza spot and bar on Woodward Avenue for 16 years.

In 2001, after years of serving the community, Nonnie’s moved to its current location at 1565 W. 75th Street. While the location changed, the mission stayed the same: delivering great food, family values, and the best possible service to every customer.
